•    Support to innovative SMEs for their international collaborative market oriented R&D projects
•    Open to all technological areas
•    No calls- project proposals can be submitted all year round
•    Eurostars calls for proposals are published on www.eurostars-eureka.eu
•    Minimum 2 countries involved (full members)

Eligibility rules

•    Applicants: SMEs  (for Eurostars R&D performing SME)

o    Academic partners can be ONLY an ADDITIONAL partner, accompanying  Croatian SME

•    Main criteria for assessment („Project Assessment Methodology PAM“ + national):

o    Innovativeness
o    Commercial potential
o    Quality of management
o    Financial viability and commitment of the applicant
o    Intellectual property rights

EUREKA/Eurostars Croatia budget
•    Revised on annual basis, average annual budget amounts 600.000€
•    Type of support: grant
•    Intensity of support: up to 50% of eligible project costs or max. 150.000€ per project
•    Project support duration: up to 3 years
